This site used to be where I tested things. A command palette, reading modes, a floating nav, a page of UI experiments. Individually I liked all of it. Together it read like a component library with a blog attached.
The personal sites I keep going back to do almost nothing. They load, they tell you who the person is, and they get out of the way. Mine was doing the opposite: plenty of features, not much me.
So I rebuilt it around one idea: say it once, quietly. One column. A serif for reading, a mono for data, and dates tucked into the margin where notes belong. One accent colour, a butter yellow borrowed from my own app.
There is less here now, and it feels more like mine. A short list of projects, some writing, a page about me, a page of tools. If something new earns its place, I will add it. Slowly.
