I'm Joe, a product engineer based in London.

I work at Alguna, where I design and build software that helps companies sell, bill, and understand their products.

I’m happiest working across design and engineering. I like taking a messy problem, figuring out what people actually need, and making the result feel simple and considered. A lot of my work sits in the details of how a product looks, behaves, and explains itself.

Outside work, I’m building Birdie: an iPhone app that makes spotting birds a little more fun. It’s a chance to make something from scratch and care about every part of it, from the first idea to the tiny interactions.

Away from a screen, I’m usually wandering around London, finding somewhere good to eat or have a drink.
